Joe Rasmussen is a program associate for WISPIRG in Madison. Born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin, Joe got involved in politics first as a student with MPIRG in Minnesota at Macalester College, leading voter registration efforts and working to pass clean cars standards in the state. He graduated from Macalester in 2011 with a degree in Geography with a concentration in Urban Studies. After spending a year teaching in Kansas City, Joe decided to return to his home state to join WISPIRG’s work for the public interest.
