Call for Ethical Government
The federal government spends billions of dollars every year subsidizing private banks to make loans to students. Urge Congress to redirect those subsidies to students in the form of need based grant aid.
Please call your U.S. Representative and urge him or her to cosponsor the Student Aid Rewards (STAR) Act that will provide $10 billion in additional need based grant aid for students at no additional cost to taxpayers.

Here's a sample message you can leave: "Hello, my name is ____ and I live in _____. I'm calling to urge Rep. _____ to cosponsor the Student Aid Rewards Act, House Bill 1425 because I want to cut waste in the student loan programs and direct it to more grant aid."
