Connecting Wisconsin With High-Speed Rail

Dear Member of Congress,

The time is right to connect our cities with high-speed rail. A new, competitive high-speed rail network will create thousands of quality jobs in Wisconsin while reducing our oil consumption, traffic congestion and global warming pollution.

President Obama awarded Wisconsin a grant to connect Madison to Milwaukee with high-speed rail, but that’s just a start. Now we must connect the rest of Wisconsin up through the Twin Cities, making it easier to travel throughout the Midwest.

That’s why I support a plan in Congress that will invest $50 billion in high-speed rail over the next six years to build the system Wisconsin needs and our country deserves.
