Background
Johanna Lathrop is an advocate for WISPIRG. Johanna received a B.S. in Rural Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Johanna subsequently received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she focused on public interest law. During law school, Johanna interned with Midwest Environmental Advocates, where she worked to ensure Wisconsin’s environmental laws were enforced. Johanna also interned with the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office and the Wisconsin Office of the State Public Defender.
